2012 REGISTRATION FOR FOOTBALL AND CHEER IS NOW OPEN!!! Lakewood Midget Player Needs Your Prayers
Nov 10 2011 - ls
On Sunday, November 6, during the Midget Championship game, a Lakewood Lancer player, Donnovan Hill, suffered a horrible injuury. While defending the goal line, Donnovan suffered an injury to his neck. He was rushed by ambulance to Mission Hospital.
We are happy to report that his neck is not broken, and that doctors have been able to put in a spacer in his neck to allow space for the nerves and spinal column to heal. While the operation was a success, the long term prognosis for Donnovan is still unclear. Regardless of the outcome, he and his family will be facing a long road ahead of them. We are asking that all SV families offer up a daily prayer for Donnovan and his family during this trying time. The Orange Empire Conference has set up a fund for Donnovan and his family. As you can imagine, the costs for his care will be enormous. If you would like to contribute, please send to: Donnovan Hill C/O Orange Empire Conference PO Box 7652 Huntington Beach, CA 92615-7652 A website has been established where Donnovan's progress will be reported. The site offers updates, photos, and a guestbook where anyone can leave Donnovan and his family a message. Please visit: www.caringbridge.org/visit/donnovanhill4 A HUGE thanks to all SV teams for their continued support of Donnovan. Many teams have held fundraisers and have donated thousands of dollars to help Donnovan. The generosity of the SV kids and parents is a true testament to the awesome spirit and pride of our SV family. Midget Wolverines are OEC Champions!

Feb 16 2009 - LS
At SVPW, our goal is to develop well rounded boys and girls who will not only learn the fundamentals of football and cheerleading, but also the importance of education, team work and sportsmanship. We pride ourselves on providing the youth of our community with a foundation of sportmanship and fellowship that they can carry with them throughout their lives.
Our association serves the following cities: Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Portola Hills, Foothill Ranch, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, and Aliso Viejo. We are proud to have partnered with two local High Schools to provide our teams with the opportunity to play on the turf and in some instances, under the lights! Our organization is run entirely by volunteers, most of whom have children in our football and cheer programs. Our teams are known as the BEARS, CHARGERS and WOLVERINES. We look forward to you joining our 'family'!
